SingleDoctors was set up following a pilot study among single doctors who are looking for long term relationships. Most of the study participants agreed that the internet afforded an effective method of introducing people. However, more than 95% of female single doctors and 70% of male single doctors would not enter their details on dating websites.
The most common reason for this was apprehension about people they know coming across their profile. All of the participants in our survey felt that there was a need for a secure dating website for single doctors and other professionals.
